$1.20 Tissue Paper/ My Fish Tank
Saturday, July 28, 2007
I promised Priscilla Tnay that I would blog about this:
Some of my church friends and I went to Smith Street to have dinner with my mother and sis. Then one auntie came over and was trying to sell 5 packets of tissue for $1. After some time of refusing her, she finally gave up and walked away. Then one of my friends said out loud, "Auntie, not $1.20 meh?" (according to the price hike advert from McDees, lol!)
I don't usually put have 2 subjects in a single entry (P.S.(s) don't count), so this is one of the very few exceptions. I am very proud of what I've done to my fish tank. After more than a year long of meddling, experimenting, observing, designing and trying, I'm finally happy with the layout of my small tank.
I now have 7 kinds of plant in my tank, of which, I'm most proud of the lotus. I bought it as a stump and its the longest residence of the tank. And because of the stump, it keeps sprouting new stems even when I damage or accidentally tear out the old ones while changing water or "re-decorating" the tank. The lotus is not visible from here as it is still quite small and covered at the back of the tank. I shall take another picture to show the tank again once the lotus is full grown.
