Biofeedback's Feedback
We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
Cha(o-da)rity Bike N Blade
Thursday, September 13, 2007
Avande organized a fund raising event, for The Salvation Army, Ling Guang Youth Centre and Pertapis, whereby participants have to cycle or blade. There are 2 sections to the whole journey; 400km which was from Malaysia to Singapore and the last 40km from Changi Ferry Terminal to Habour Front.
We have been training for several weeks before the event and it seems that the training has paid off. Cos it turned out top be quite relaxing for us on the actual day and I seem to have lost some weight. Haha.

Oh yes, and the hot sun that afternoon left me a mark. There're still very obvious tan lines on both my arms today
Uncle, Very Fun Is It?
Monday, September 03, 2007
2:30pm. Pouring outside; the huge thuderstorm and water ankle high by the roadside kind.
Decided to take a taxi to go home from East Point. There were 2 cabs waiting at the stand. From a distance I could see the sign on Taxi 1 and says "Shift Change, Bedok". I went over to the 2nd cab and wanted to get into it. The uncle in cab no.2 waved his hand and ask me to go to the taxi in front. I tried to explain to him that cab no.1 was going Bedok, but he kept saying no and cannot.
At this point of time, cab no.1 horned, indicating for me to go to him. So I walked over quickly, still trying to get myself out of the rain, opened the door and asked, "You going Bedok right?" He then asked where my destination was and upon finding out, he waved his hand and said, "Cannot, cannot." Drawing from the frustration welling up inside of me I said, "Uncle, very fun is it? It's raining outside here you know?"
