Newly Decorated Waterfront

The new canal (or river as some would say) in front of my block just went through a facelift. It is now much greener with lots of new plants which, makes the whole place much more pleasing to the eyes. They have also added a floating platform, a spice garden, and a little educational corner that explains how water was used to to generate energy and for irrigation in the past. They can also replaced the park benches with large stones so that the whole place has a very natural theme. While walking along the floating platform, I heard a lady exlpaing to her friend that we smell we caught a whimph of was the smell that was given off by the pandan leaves planted along side the banks. It is now just so rejuvenating to walk down that path!

The Singapore Flyer

I went with my friend to take some pics of the new icon of Singapore; The Singapore Flyer. There was very limited as to what I could do, especially when I do not have a wide angle lens like my friend. Anyway, here they are.

I Am Sailing

My life has come to a very exciting point. Many doors are opening up for me. The idea of venturing out into something new has never been an appealing motion for me. I am usually the person who plays it safe and would not take too much uncalculated risks.

However, I think the time has come where I am ready to sail into the unchartered waters in my world, and as I am getting ready to change the course of my life, many new routes are becoming available for me. Along with these routes came quests and adventures, beckoning me to take the step of faith and boldly explore the possiblilties and the riches that this world has to offer.

I believe that more challenges than those that I had foreseen would appear before me, but I am whole-heartedly ready to face them. In the midst of all these, I shall not be swallowed up by any storm nor be lost in the vast oceans of the aspects of life. For I have my Compass with me.
