Check Out My New Fish Tank

Bought this tank sometime ago, but didn't post any pics. Its bigger than my last tank, I think this is a 2ft tank. It's just gone through "refurnishing".

Last Saturday, I went online to book 2 tickets for The Dark Knight. When I was at Cineleisure to collect my tickets, the girl at the counter said that I booked tickets for 4am and not 4pm. She said that they timing at the booking website was in 24hrs format and not am/pm format.

Fortunately, they were willing to give me 2 tickets for any show I wanted. However, there was no more spaces for Batman and the earliest timing for for 12 midnight. So I got tickets for Hancock instead, which turned out to be quite a good show.

After Hancock, LF and I were bored and since we only had lunch at 4pm, we decided to go watch the Dark Knight at Prince instead of going for dinner.

It was quite a terrible experience as the seats were very small and I was sitting next to a body builder. Try to imagine how a body builder looks like; he was having difficulties keeping his elbow within his own space and invaded my zone of comfort. Oh, what a terrible 2 and a half hours! During which, I suddenly sneezed and the girl sitting in front stared at me cos some "wind" got into her hair even though I covered my mouth. Then LF kept laughing not because the show was funny, but cos he couldn't get over the fact that I blew into the girl's hair.

The show was ok lah, not too bad

Lessons Learnt Today

1) Sometimes it is important to double check even though they understand.

2) Some people like to be ONLY on the giving end of lame jokes and doing lame things. They fall apart when on the receiving end.

3) Not everyone can accept your honesty when they ask you to choose. They rather you keep your opinion to yourself and choose what they like, even if they are your close friends. (Next time just tell me what I need to choose what you want, no misunderstanding going down that lane.)
